The Cambridge English Key Exam is the first step in the Cambridge journey. This exam shows that you have basic communication skills in English and are able to understand and express yourself in simple situations. Most people take the KET exam to demonstrate their ongoing language development.
The exam is organised into three parts; Reading and Writing, Listening and Speaking so all your skills are tested and evaluated. The types of tasks you will have range from introducing yourself and answering questions to writing a short note to someone you know. The whole exam takes about 2 hours and most exam centers offer it several times during the year.
To prepare for the KET exam you should become familiar with the language you would need to use in everyday situations as well as be able to talk about yourself and other people. The best way to prepare for this is to attend a course where you can communicate with your teacher and classmates, this will also help improve your confidence in your language abilities.
At Harper Morgan English, we want you to feel comfortable using English so we encourage our students to speak as much as possible and become confident in their abilities. We will offer any help or guidance you need to reach the goal you have set for yourself.
