This is something almost everyone does – avoid doing something till the last minute. But there are some of us who do this more than others. This brilliantly funny talk by Tim Urban explains the mind of a procrastinator and describes how people who procrastinate deal with deadlines. Tim also talks about how dangerous procrastination is when it’s to do with things which don’t have deadlines.
Here are some things for you to consider;
Are you a procrastinator? What kinds of things do you put off? As a student did you (or do you) complete your projects with time to spare or are you the sort of person to hand in your assignments with only minutes to spare?
Do you feel bad about procrastinating? What about delaying things makes you feel bad? Or is it something that you’ve become used to?
If you don’t procrastinate, what advice could you give us? What do you do to organise your time and make sure that you never have to feel panic?
As always, we’re really looking forward to hearing what advice you have to offer! Comment and share and join the conversation!
