This week at Harper Morgan English, we are talking about men and women and gender equality.
Recent research [1/2] has shown that cavemen and women lived in an equal society, with both genders taking balanced responsibility in their daily lives.
From this we can ask two questions; were humans living perfect lives then? Or, have we evolved and progressed to a better society now?
To decide which opinion you agree with, here are some questions to ask yourself:
Firstly, are men and women different? Do these differences mean that men are unable to do certain things? Is this the same for women?
Secondly, what are the main reasons that men and women do not have the same rights in society? Are there any good reasons for this?
Finally, if men and women were treated identically, would there be any negative consequences?
Let us know what you think! Have a great weekend by joining the conversation!
