Nowadays, the media often blames video games for violent and aggressive behaviour, but is there enough scientific evidence to prove this? This week, we’re reading articles [1/2] which talk about research on video games. While reading ask yourself these questions:
First of all, is realistic behaviour something which can be tested? Is it possible to see how someone would act naturally if they are being experimented on?
Also, we are surrounded by violence (in films, in books, on the news) so why do people believe video games are the biggest cause of aggressive behaviour? What may be other reasons for someone acting that way?
What about you? Are you a gamer? Do you think playing video games affects your actions?
Let us know what you think! Have a great weekend by joining the conversation!
